Thrills and chills of rafting

Rafting is one of the most famous water sports in the world. In Nepal too rafting is  a tremendously exciting experience as the mighty rivers challenge your strength. Since Nepal is blessed with several rivers, rafting will be a once in a life-time experience and an unforgettable memory too.

We categorize the grades of rapids for your preference according to your convenience and offer packagees like jungle safari in the chitwan national park. We'll ensure your travel is properly managed so that you reach your destination. 

 

Rapidity of rivers:

Grade I  :   Clam and easy water with occasional small rapids, few or no obstacles.
Grade II  :   Face regular waves, small rapids but easy to navigate moderate.
Grade III  :   Difficult rapids, hazards, irregular waves, need avoiding.
Grade IV  :   large rapids, requires maneuvering dangerous hazards.
Grade V  :   Extremely difficult, long and very violent rapids, severe hazards.
Grade VI  :   Extreme of Navigability, nearly impossible.

 

Introduetions of rivers:
Tamur: The far eastern river derives from third highest peak of the world Kanchanjunga.
Grade: 4.5+ med volume/ highly recommend

Arun: The far eastern river derives from third highest peak of the world Makalu.
Grade: 3-5 medium / special interest

Sunkoshi: The excellent and top ten rivers, derives from far eastern valley.
Grade: 3-5 huge volume / highly recommend.

Bhote koshi: Derives from eastern region of Nepal, classified to be the best short white water rafting river / season November & December.
Grade: 3-5, huge volume / highly recommend.

Trisuli: 2-3, Big volume / mostly recommended for family trip / Derives from northern Himalaya.

Seti: Derives from Middle West Himalaya Annapurna & Fishtail.
Grade: 2-3, medium volume / recommended.

Marsyandgi: 3-5 medium volume / highly recommend /Derives from western Himalayas of manang region.

Kali Gandaki: Derives from Mustang region, far west of Nepal. Very popular & best canyon river.
Grade: 2-3, medium volume / highly recommended.

Karnali: Derives from Tibet, flows through far west Mugu district, the longest river in Nepal.
Grade: 3-5 + huge volume / highly recommended.

Bheri: Derives from Tibet border and flows through far western Nepal, it’s a fishing river.
Grade: 2-3 medium volume / highly recommended.

Indrawati: The most easiest and relaxable ideal for elderly people. This river derives from nurth east region of Nepal.
